MOSCOT is a global lifestyle brand driven by the Company‚ nearly 100 years of eyewear expertise, New York City heritage and its downtown sensibility. It is renowned worldwide for its iconic eyewear‚ The MOSCOT Originals, MOSCOT Spirit, MOSCOT Titanium and MOSCOT Sun Collections.
The MOSCOT optical roots were first planted in America by great grandfather and family patriarch, Hyman Moscot, who arrived from Eastern Europe via Ellis Island in 1899. Hyman began selling ready-made eyeglasses from a pushcart on Orchard Street on Manhattan‚ famed Lower East Side, and the rest, as they say, is history!
In 1925, Hyman’s son, Sol, joined the family business and at the tender age of only 15, he opened the family‚ first retail shop, MOSCOT‚ at 94 Rivington Street. By 1950, MOSCOT was settled at 118 Orchard Street, on the corner of Delancey Street, where it remains to this day.
In 1951, Sol’s son Joel, began presiding over the House of MOSCOT. Charming, dedicated, and devoted to his customers, Joel quickly made his mark‚ overseeing the shop and conveying the family values to his sons, who would soon become the fourth generation of Moscots to take the helm.
In 1986, Joel’s son, Dr. Harvey Moscot, entered the family business, and in 1992, Joel’s youngest son, Kenny Moscot, eagerly entered the business as well. Shortly thereafter, the family opened its second shop at 69 West 14th Street, on the corner of Sixth Avenue in downtown Manhattan, which now hails as the company’s flagship location.
Together, the fourth generation Moscot siblings reinvented what was once a neighbourhood optical shop into what is now a global lifestyle brand, beloved by fans worldwide.
The MOSCOT Originals, MOSCOT Spirit, MOSCOT Titanium and MOSCOT Sun Collections, as well as MOSCOT branded lifestyle products and accessories, are sold worldwide via moscot.com, in the company’s New York City-based retail shops, and in specialty boutiques and optical shops across the globe.
MOSCOT infuses its unmistakably refined, downtown aesthetic with 100 years of eyewear expertise and unparalleled craftsmanship to create its timeless eyewear.

Ahlem Manai-Platt, a Paris native living in Los Angeles, has a long-standing fascination with the relationship between beauty, functionality and design. The culmination of her passions has resulted in the development of Ahlem Eyewear.
“I wanted my collection to represent the real Paris, a city that isn’t defined by brands or trends, but rather by the people – a mix of artists and intellects who work hard and hustle, yet who take time to relax and play as well.”
Every frame is named after a neighborhood in Paris and are as full of life and character as the area they represent.
Each pair of frames is entirely made by hand, with uncompromising attention to detail. Mazzuchelli and vintage acetates used are all hand-selected. Organic Divel Italia lenses provide superior UVA/UVB protection with built-in anti-reflective coating. Every pair of glasses is created with the utmost respect for material and process.
While the frames may look familiar at first, it’s the subtle touches that reveal Ahlem Eyewear’s signature: beveled temples, rounded edges and a finely-curved nose bridge invites an interplay between hard and soft elements, while a unique metal and rubber binding on the hinges adds stability.

THE STORY OF A NAME
Founded in Berlin in 2003, the first MYKITA premises were settled in a former children’s day care, called Kita in German. This inspired not only the name My Kita, but also our culture of curiosity and play. We started with a clear aesthetic vision and a readiness to do things ourselves. Creating an open-minded work environment and a sense of integrity toward everything in and around the product came intuitively.
MYKITA started out in the same independent and pioneering spirit that shaped our hometown, Berlin. With no one to manufacture our original eyewear designs, the decision was made to set up the in-house production. Developing our own tools and processes to meet design requirements has since become a principle of how MYKITA operates and one of our greatest assets. At its heart, the modern manufactory is the combination of specialised craftsmanship and adapted new technologies.
ALL UNDER ONE ROOF
In 2014, MYKITA settled into a historic building in the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg. Headed by founder Moritz Krueger, the team at MYKITA HAUS is a mix of people with diverse cultural backgrounds and individual talents who guide the product through every stage. The interplay between people and disciplines drives the joy for experimentation and commitment to quality reflected in our products.
Ergonomically engineered for comfort, choosing only the most durable raw materials like cured cellulose acetate and tempered mineral glass lenses
LGR promise 100% made in Italy craftmanship, and to prove this can trace every piece of LGR eyewear back to 1 of 3 Italian artisanal families.
Inspired by Africa
On a trip in 2005, Luca visited one of the optical stores in Asmara, Eritrea owned by his grandfather who had once lived in Africa from 1930 to 1970. There he discovered a box of colonial period sunglasses, which had been imported from Italy 50 years earlier. Fascinated by the elegant design of the frames, Luca brought the pieces back to Italy. The news of his discovery spread, and instantly requests poured in for these unique sunglasses.
He tracked down the original manufacturers and began a small production of the authentic frames, respecting the traditional artisanal methods of the past. Soon after, Luca began to sell them to exclusive boutiques all over Europe. Following much success in 2008, he participated to a showroom event in Paris, which resulted in his first published article in Vogue France.

A paradox of pop culture — some people spend money on trendy but cheap eyewear, while longing for eternal classics. This paradox recognised was the spark that ignited the KILSGAARD brand. The logic of our design is to subvert this contradiction – nurture that longing for iconic and classic eyewear, but with designs founded in structural integrity.
Jacob Kilsgaard founded the company in 2007, and worked closely with the renowned architectural design company Bonnelycke MDD from the beginning. The concept was ready to launch in March 2008 at the Drommesyn show in Copenhagen. Jacob doesn’t come from a designer’s background, but his passion for ‘feinschmeck’ and good, clean business strategies have successfully translated into urban-classic spectacle frames by Bonnelycke MDD.Realizing that it takes a near-neurotic individual to develop the classical minimalism Jacob was looking for, he brought Bonnelycke MDD on board.
Kilsgaard Eyewear embodies simplicity. The idea is to create a contemporary, elegant design that both compliments and reinforces the style of the wearer. We keep our gaze ahead of the trends – watch how they evolve – but stay grounded in the classic designs that have outlasted decades. We’re not here to revolutionize the world of eyewear. We’re here to re-introduce, in our own package, what’s proven to work: minimalist aluminum.
Good design has the strength to be simple. That’s why we’ve designed logical spectacle frames that are reliable and insist on elegant tech solutions. One screw fastens hinges and rim-lock, and all frames are 100% aluminium—some combined with the finest acetate money can buy—light as feather and strong as steel. The frames are designed in Denmark, produced in Italy, returned home to Denmark to be colour-anodised, and shipped back to Italy for final assembly; an expensive but necessary process to maintain the high quality we demand. Anodising is a chemical process that colours and tempers the metal, making it impossible for the paint to peel.

Handmade in Italy with love
RES REI means ‘the thing’ in Latin. It means an existing object, with substance and form; but it also means a concept, an idea. RES/REI is the ensemble of things that make life around us, in all given forms.
Frames are peculiar objects: they are fashion accessories, aesthetic enhancers, yet they are also medical devices, precision tools to overcome poor eyesight. Some might argue that spectacles are an extension of someone’s closet; for us, it’s about individuality. We don’t let fashion trends rule our style but instead think of our frames as tools for expression. We focus on the little details that differentiate between ‘the good’ and ‘the exceptional’.
We are a global brand, yet our production is local. We believe in creating frames that reflect our values: quality, sustainability and heritage.
The only way to control quality, is to work closely with the manufacturers, to visit them every week, to listen to their experience and use it as inspiration for new ideas.
We care about our footprint and only produce with sustainable manufacturers. All our suppliers, from raw materials producers to manufacturing factories, from printing facilities to screws suppliers, are local allowing us to reduce our transportation needs and CO2 emissions.
We are proud of our Italian heritage which has a rich history of eyewear design and manufacture. Most of the world leading optical brands are are located within the heart of Italy creating a constant wave of energy for increasingly refined eyewear.
We only work with local Italian suppliers and manufacturers.

We at Lunor like to focus on our own point of view, a change of view, the big picture, transparency in our conduct, life in all its aspects, the healthy mix. But we also believe in understatement. That’s why we’ll keep it brief. We love what we do.
Our vision, as a manufacturer of glasses, is to make an uncompromising impact with quality, masterful craftsmanship, and consistent workmanship. Lunette d’Or was where it all started, and where we got our name: Lunor. And hand-crafted gold will remain part of all our pieces in future, too.
We’ll be honest: We don’t care much for logos. But we care a lot about fine details. Because it is in these details, well known to connoisseurs, that you can see what makes Lunor special.
